RAM MODELING STUDY (RMS)
Reliabaility Availability and Maintainability (RAM) modeling study is a decision - making tool that identifies possible causes of production losses and predicts the asset performance which gives a collective impact on sustainment or total Life Cycle Costs (LCC) of a system and its utility.
TUTIS’s approach towards RAM Modeling assists the asset owners to increase profit (reduce production downtime),reuce cost (maintenance and logistics) and ensures that both existing and future assets are designed and operated in an optimized way.
Objective of RAM Modeling is :-
- To identify the essential equipment and construct its Reliability Block Diagram and Fault Tree with the help of failure rate data.
- To assess the reliability of the system/sub-systems from RBD
- To identify the availability and maintainability of the system in order to minimize discontinuities in normal operation
